Newmark Theatre – An Intimate Performing Arts Venue in Downtown Portland

Located at 1111 Southwest Broadway in Portland, Oregon, the Newmark Theatre is part of the Portland’5 Centers for the Arts and serves as a venue for concerts, theatrical productions, dance performances, lectures, and community events. Opened in 1967, the theater hosts a variety of cultural programming and live entertainment throughout the year. The venue features seating for approximately 880 guests.

Designed as an intimate performance space within the Antoinette Hatfield Hall complex, the Newmark Theatre welcomes touring productions, local arts organizations, and educational events in downtown Portland. Operated by Portland’5 Centers for the Arts, the venue continues to serve as an important destination for performing arts and cultural experiences in the city.
