The Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science, at 301 South Main Avenue in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is a multidisciplinary facility that combines a performing arts center, visual art galleries, and a science museum. The Mary W. Sommervold Hall serves as its main theater, seating more than 1,800 with excellent acoustics and sightlines. Opened in 1999 within a repurposed historic building, the Pavilion offers Broadway tours, concerts, comedy, and dance alongside its educational programming. Located in downtown Sioux Falls, it’s surrounded by restaurants, shops, and hotels, making it both a cultural and community landmark.
