Paramount Theatre – A Restored Historic Theater in Downtown Cedar Rapids

Located at 123 Third Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the Paramount Theatre originally opened in 1928 as a vaudeville and movie palace. The historic venue hosts concerts, Broadway productions, dance performances, comedy, films, and community events throughout the year. The theater features seating for more than 1,600 guests.

Operated by VenuWorks as part of CREventsLive, the Paramount Theatre has been restored while preserving its historic architectural character and ornate interior design. Situated in downtown Cedar Rapids, the venue continues to serve as a major destination for live entertainment and performing arts in eastern Iowa.
