Located at 1 Avenue of the Arts in Newport News, Virginia, the Ferguson Center for the Arts is a modern, multi-venue performing arts facility on the campus of Christopher Newport University. Opened in 2005 and designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, the center houses the impressive Diamonstein Concert Hall, the more intimate Peebles Theatre, and a flexible Studio Theatre, along with rehearsal studios, galleries, and educational spaces. Known for its excellent acoustics and architectural elegance, it hosts an array of performances—from symphonies and Broadway touring productions to dance, lecture series, and student showcases.
