Mother Lode Theatre – A Historic Performing Arts Venue in Uptown Butte
Located at 316 West Park Street in Butte, Montana, the Mother Lode Theatre serves as a venue for concerts, theatrical productions, dance performances, films, and community events. Originally opened in 1921 as the Broadway Theatre, the venue was later restored and reopened as the Mother Lode Theatre, becoming part of the Butte Center for the Performing Arts. The theater features seating for approximately 970 guests.
The venue hosts a variety of touring productions, local performances, and cultural programming throughout the year while preserving its historic character in Butte’s uptown historic district. The Mother Lode Theatre continues to serve as an important gathering place for arts and entertainment in southwest Montana.
