The Paramount Theater – A Restored Landmark on the Downtown Mall

The Paramount Theater, at 215 East Main Street in Charlottesville, Virginia, first opened in 1931 as a movie palace and was beautifully restored in the early 2000s. With its grand marquee, decorative plasterwork, and seating for just over 1,000, it offers a warm and elegant atmosphere enhanced by modern sound and lighting.
