Harrison Opera House – Home of the Virginia Opera in Norfolk

Located at 160 West Virginia Beach Boulevard in Norfolk, Virginia, the Harrison Opera House serves as a major venue for opera, concerts, dance performances, and theatrical productions in southeastern Virginia. Originally built in 1943 as a USO theater and lounge, the building was later renovated and reopened as an opera house in 1993.

The venue is home to the Virginia Opera and hosts a variety of live performances and cultural events throughout the year. Operated by SevenVenues, the Harrison Opera House combines historic character with modern production capabilities and continues to serve as an important performing arts destination in downtown Norfolk.
