The Saenger Theatre – Mobile’s Historic Performing Arts Landmark
The Saenger Theatre, located at 6 South Joachim Street in downtown Mobile, Alabama, opened in 1927 as a grand movie palace and quickly became one of the Gulf Coast’s premier entertainment venues. With seating for approximately 1,900 guests, it has welcomed generations of audiences to Broadway tours, concerts, ballet and dance performances, comedy, and classic film screenings.
