Swan Lake is presented in Schenectady, NY on Sept 20 at Proctors Theatre as part of Gorskaya-Hartwick’s national touring program — bringing one of the world’s most celebrated ballet productions to audiences across the United States.
Located at 432 State Street in Schenectady, New York, Proctors originally opened in 1926 as a vaudeville theater and has since become one of the region’s leading venues for performing arts and live entertainment. The theater hosts Broadway productions, concerts, dance performances, comedy, films, and community events throughout the year. The MainStage theater features seating for more than 2,600 guests.
Restored and expanded over the years, Proctors combines historic architecture with modern production capabilities while serving as a cultural centerpiece of downtown Schenectady. Operated by Proctors Collaborative, the venue continues to welcome touring productions, local organizations, and audiences from across New York’s Capital Region.
